About Me:
Proto-Christians misrepresented Jesus. They preached original sin where he preached original innocence. They promoted a human messiah where he promoted transcendent humanity as the messiah. They preached his imaginary death while he wrote in exile of eternal life.
Exploring life's biggest questions has always been my passion. When I was too young to know what the questions were, life gave me psychic impressions of traveling to the mysterious heart of everything. My unconventional beliefs transcend divisions while respecting and valuing them as part of the rainbow. My lifework consists of sharing in writing whatever spiritual or historical truths I can find, in order to bring hope and peace to those like myself who live in religious exile.
The result of my years of research is a series of posts I call Jesus Between The Lines. What I found hidden by mistranslation and misinterpretation of gospel accounts was an extremely different Jesus. He understood the physics and origin of the universe in a way no other human ever has, explaining two thousand years before quantum physics new concepts that humanity still has not even begun to explore.
He was an aristocratic ex-priest trained by John the Baptist, another priest. John's spartan appearance was metaphorical only and referred to his strict observance of ritual bathing laws and expectation of a human messiah. Jesus had his own ideas. He taught that the messiah was not a person but a personification of enlightened humanity which he called The Son of Man or The Son of God.
He was against marriage more than he objected to divorce; he was in love with a young man named Eleazar with whom he had a lifelong commitment; his mission was one of life not death; he was never literally crucified but died in Gaul perhaps of appendicitis or a liver ailment; his betrayer was not a literal Judas Iscariot but a revolutionary coup led by Peter, along with Andrew, James and John. Most incredible of all, Jesus wrote a tractate after his alleged death, admonishing his Jewish and Christian fans to drop their dogmatic quarrels and just be like angels. It ended up misnamed, appended, and edited almost beyond recognition. Look for it in The Gospel According to John, especially chapter eight.
How could the real Jesus have remained hidden for so long? His disciples had split, even before his arrest, into opposing factions: adepts, also called gnostics, and administrative assistants. Gnostics were his advanced pupils to whom he imparted mysteries which even Einstein did not fully understand, the secret wisdom of transcendence. When Peter, one of the administrative assistants, had Jesus wrongfully arrested and then took over the group with an iron hand and a misunderstanding of the mysteries, undercover adepts including Jesus himself, wrote the real story into scripture. They used slang, idioms, and simple metaphorical language readily decipherable to the careful reader in their day but quite misleading in ours.
Like so many unjustly marginalized “sinners” of today, angelic souls who happen to be different from the current “norm” in some way, Jesus marched to the beat of a higher drummer than religion, dogma, or tradition. His rebellious behavior in living life on a higher dimension seemed sinful or even crazy to some, while others found it refreshingly inspirational. The oneness of true love was his religion. It was no religion at all, just The Way, because that was just the Way it was.
Jesus Between the Lines is my attempt to showcase new insights for those who can appreciate them. Many good souls will surely find such unusual interpretations of the gospels blasphemous or obscene. I owe much to such well-meaning individuals in my own journey, and have struggled along that path myself. I certainly have no desire to harm others' faith or deter them from the path upon which the Spirit leads them. I ask that the Golden Rule be the reader's guide in allowing me the freedom to take an alternative route.
